Strategies for Success on Colorado's Summits

Ryan Olson is a dentist and avid hiker based in Loveland. His climbing resume includes summits of over a third of Colorado's 636 13,000'+ peaks in a wide range of conditions, including all of Colorado's 14ers. 'Strategies for Success on Colorado's Summits' is the topic of the presentation. "Since my completion of the 14ers in 2021 I've branched out to the 13ers. I'm excited to share some of the strategies, philosophies, gear, and tech that make it safe, fun, and predictable to summit high peaks in Colorado every week of the year. Many of the discussion points will be applicable to preparedness for outdoor activities in general, not just summiting peaks."
