Emerald Lake (A)

This classic and rewarding out and back hike in Rocky Mountain National Park provides us an opportunity to visit three alpine lakes: Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, and Emerald Lake. This A rated hike, that goes through aspen groves and ponderosa pine, is 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 750’ and a top elevation of 10,100’. This hike is moderate in difficulty and depending on possible ice or snow, our hiking pace will be adjusted accordingly. The weather is uncertain in late November, so we'll decide on footwear closer to the hike date; traction devices or snowshoes may be required. Covid vaccinated hikers only please. Limit is 8 hikers.
