Mount Margaret Trailhead Loop (A)

This moderately challenging hike near Red Feather Lakes will encompass multiple trails available at the Mount Margaret Trailhead. This is a loop hike of 7.5 miles in length with a cumulative elevation gain of 500 feet. The hike features a ponderosa pine forest, small stands of quaking aspen and wonderful views of Dowdy Lake. We will hike at an intermediate pace. Hopefully, we will witness the beautiful Aspen tree color changes associated with this stunning area. Limit is 8 hikers.
