Lady Moon/Disappointment Falls Wildflower Hike (A)

This is a 4.5 to 5-mile hike with a total elevation gain of 531 feet. This trail near Red Feather Lakes involves a short, gentle hike through open, dry ponderosa pine forest and a large attractive meadow (which could be muddy). We may have to cross an intermittent stream, so make sure your hiking boots are waterproof. Disappointment Falls is not a disappointment in the spring when the water flow is high. Since this will be a wildflower identification hike, it will be at a slow pace. The Rideshare will be $8 per person.
