Crosier Mountain (B)

A moderately challenging out and back fall hike near Glen Haven can be accessed from three trailheads. We will originate at the Gravel Pit/Rainbow TH. The first mile is steep, then moderates into a gradual ascent until the last ½ mile, which is steep and somewhat rocky to the summit. The trails are mostly in trees with occasional lookouts. The views from Crosier summit are spectacular with distant mountains and the town of Estes Park below. Trail is a good workout with 8 miles RT, 2,400’ elevation gain and 9,143’ height at the summit.
