"History of Native Americans of the
Central Rocky Mountains"
The speaker was Dr. Andrew
Cowell,
a professor
in the Linguistics department of the University of Colorado who
has a long- running interest in the Arapahos and central Rockies
and their interaction with the plants and wildlife.
Dr. Cowell
was be a lively contributor to our knowledge of those who
inhabited our area long before we came on the scene.
May 3rd
"Edible and Poisonous Plants"
The speaker was "Cattail" Bob
Seebeck. Bob
was born in northern New Jersey on a lake and fell in love with
nature there while very young. He's been involved in
nature ever since. He started teaching outdoor survival
techniques in 1975. Since then, he's broadened his subject
matter to include primitive living skills, simple cabin
building, wild herbs and our topic, "Edible & Poisonous
Plants". He has appeared on the Today
Show, in 5280 magazine and numerous local TV shows.

Skyline" Jim
Disney provided an all-encompassing presentation of the 108
mountains that are able to be seen from Loveland.
Now all we have to do is climb them all.

traditional outdoor meal.
